Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3

Hello?  Is this thing working?  Can you hear me?  Wait, you're saying this isn't a microphone?!?
(Okay, so I'm trying to be witty here; I have a technical theater background, so sometimes this type of thing will come out.)

After saying many times after stories about my confectionary adventures "maybe I should write a blog," I have finally set one up!  I'll try to post my trials and tribulations, successes, and silliness in the world of desserts on a regular-ish basis.  Since I'll be starting back at grad school after a year off, I'm not sure how often it will be.

Here's to a start of something interesting and, hopefully, tasty.
